Onalaska Animal Hospital Appoints Jessica Merritt as New Hospital Manager

ONALASKA, Wisconsin — Onalaska Animal Hospital has appointed Jessica Merritt as its new hospital manager.

Merritt brings over 15 years of veterinary industry experience spanning emergency, specialty, and general practice settings. Her proven track record in clinical operations, team development, and compassionate care made her a standout among dozens of candidates during a nationwide search.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, Merritt has held leadership roles as ICU Supervisor, technician trainer, and most recently, hospital manager at a high-volume VCA hospital in Cape Coral, Florida. Her leadership style combines accountability with empathy — empowering staff to deliver their best while fostering a culture of trust, growth, and excellence.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys outdoor adventures, relaxing with her newly adopted canine companion, Tango, and mentoring rising professionals in the veterinary field.
